Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of ODS (Obroh Download Suite), OMS (Obroh Media Player) and OBSWAD(Obroh Swarm Dev) — together, the “Services”, provided by Obroh. By installing or using any Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you're using a Service on behalf of an organisation, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Accounts
ODS and OMS create a device-linked account automatically; adding profile details is optional. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping the device it's tied to reasonably secure. OBSWAD does not require an account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. In particular:
- ODSis built to fetch content from links you provide, from public sources. You're responsible for only downloading content you own, have permission to download, or are otherwise legally entitled to download under applicable law and the terms of the source platform (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X/Threads and others each have their own terms, which continue to apply to you). Don't use ODS to infringe copyright, circumvent a platform's access controls, or redistribute content at scale without rights to do so.
- Don't use any Service to harass, defraud, distribute malware, violate another person's privacy, or break the law.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse or overload our backend, dispatch, pricing, wallet or anti-abuse systems.
- OBSWAD's agent (“Richard”) can read, edit and run commands in a project folder you open, and commit to git, with your review and approval at each step. You're responsible for what you approve it to do, including any command it runs or code it edits.
4. Subscriptions, wallet and payments
ODS and OMS offer free tiers alongside paid plans (for example Pro, Plus, Studio or Master), and a shared in-app utility token, vPT, used for Pro features and rewards. Prices are shown in Naira at checkout; paid plans may auto-renew until cancelled from within the app or your app store account settings.
Payments are processed by Paystack and/or Flutterwave. We don't collect or store your full card or bank details. Except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, payments and token top-ups are non-refundable; if something went wrong with a charge, contact support@obroh.com and we'll look into it.
vPT is a utility token for use within the Obroh ecosystem only. It is not an investment product, is not redeemable for cash outside features we explicitly offer in-app, and carries no guarantee of value or liquidity. A BEP-20 contract exists on BNB Smart Chain for transparency of the reward mechanism; this does not make vPT a security or a promise of future value.
5. AI features (OBSWAD)
OBSWAD ships with an offline AI model that runs entirely on your device, and lets you optionally add your own API key for a cloud provider (Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Gemini, or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint). If you add a cloud provider, your use of that provider is governed by that provider's own terms, and any usage costs it charges are your responsibility, not ours.
AI-generated output — including code, explanations and suggested commands — may be incomplete or incorrect. You're responsible for reviewing anything Richard proposes before you keep an edit, run a command, or commit, which is why those actions require your approval by design.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including their branding, design and underlying software (excluding open-source components, which remain under their own licenses — OBSWAD is built on Visual Studio Code and is itself distributable under the same open-source terms as its upstream), belong to Obroh or its licensors. You keep all rights to content you create, download or process using the Services; we claim no ownership over it.
7. Third-party platforms and services
ODS interacts with public content on platforms we don't control. Those platforms can change, restrict or remove access at any time, which may affect whether a given link can be fetched. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy or content of third-party platforms, payment processors or AI providers.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that downloads, playback or AI features will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obroh will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₦10,000, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
You can stop using any Service at any time, and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to a Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the vPT wallet or payment systems, or where required to protect the Services or other users.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in-app. Continuing to use a Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
